Find a Will
NSW Trustee and Guardian is the leading provider of Wills in NSW, Australia and we have an extensive Wills database.
Section 54 of the Succession Act 2009 governs who may inspect a Will of a person who has died.
Generally, these people include:
-
Those who are referred to in the Will or an earlier Will
-
Certain relatives
-
Those who would be entitled to the estate if the Will is not valid and the estate is distributed according to the NSW intestacy laws
-
Those with a claim against the estate.

What if there is no Will?
If a Will cannot be located, an application needs to be made to the Supreme Court for ‘Letters of Administration’ – a document providing the court’s formal approval for someone to administer the estate of the deceased. We can help to administer a deceased estate with no Will.
